Jack Bebber
President
Jack and Tami Bebber are living examples of how much a couple can love, draw from, and give to the region they proudly call home. With a family that’s been here since Colonial days, a history degree, and a life membership in the NC Literary and Historical Society, Jack is inspired by the ways in which nature and culture have interacted to make Western North Carolina a singularly satisfying place to live. As an accomplished mountain biker, snowboarder, and potter, Tami revels in this region’s never-ending kinetic and esthetic feast.
Before founding EcoHouse Realty, Jack taught history, renovated historic homes, and ran a successful real estate agency. When he met Tami, she was managing Ski Country Sports. They teamed up to grow organic produce on Jack’s farm, create a family that has grown to their three cherished daughters Judy, Molly, and Sally, and cultivate the coterie of entrepreneurial green advocates who staff and manage EcoHouse Realty, EcoBuilders, Dwell Realty, and EcoHome.
Jack and Tami are both licensed Real Estate Brokers and members of the Asheville Board of Realtors. Jack is a Certified Eco-Realtor, and has earned Certified New Home Specialist and CRB (Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers) Designations, the latter recognized as the measure of success for real estate brokerage management. A past director of the Asheville Board of Realtors and the WNC Green Building Council, Jack serves on the Asheville-Buncombe Historic Resources Commission. Jack and Tami are founding members of the Asheville-Buncombe United Way Highlands Circle. Tami volunteers at Avery’s Creek Elementary School, and Jack coaches softball.
The Bebbers still haven’t decided what to do in their spare time.
